New goal: Goofy in 2015 - The DIS Discussion Forums

Well, after having the FANTASTIC experience of doing my first half marathon during WDW weekend, I am now hooked. I want to do as many races as I can this year and start training to hopefully do a full marathon by year's end. I may even try for next year's WDW marathon but that is doubtful. But I have decided to set my sights on Goofy's Challenge in 2015!

I want to do Goofy in '15 as well. It will be the 10th annual "official" Goofy. I did the 5th annual and I think by 2015 I'll be ready to do it again.

You can do it! I did my first Goofy and my first full marathon this past January in Disney. Just stick with training and don't ignore injuries even if they feel minor. Good luck with your training and your races.

Good for you! I am planning on doing my second Goofy 2015. I think it will be a big year for Goofy...

It will hopefully be my first!
Wanted to do it this year but DH said probably should start with "just" the Marathon (he was right but don't tell him

).

Hope it doesn't sell out as quickly as DL races this year!

I am in for sure, it will be my 3rd Goofy, my first goofy was the ice goofy of 2010 and then did dopey last year. Definatley in for the 10th anniversary Goofy
