Resort building request

Is it appropriate to call the desk at the resort you are staying at and request a certain building?

How far in advance can I request this?

Can I do a verbal request if I do a on line check in too?

THANKS for all the help!!!!

Smile do online checkin.

If you do the online checkin you can request this and tell them many things but they are only "Requests" and do not guaratine that you will get them, unless it is medical related.

You're not calling the resort. You'd be calling a call center where the CMs answer as if they were at your resort, but...

Just call CRO and add your building request to your reservation.

I forgot to mention. I went thru an agnet. I called CRO and they told me they could not help me since I went thru an agent. I had told my agent what my request had been, she said she would handle. But she has been very lax about other things...It is Disney month for them, was her reason. I wanted to double check on this myself. Thanks!!!

When you go through a TA, they own your reservation until you check in, so Disney will not discuss anything with you regarding that reservation. You will have to keep checking with your agent and have faith that she will or did handle it. Also, when you check in if you see your request wasn't met, you can always ask if another room is available that meets your request. Requests are not guaranteed, but the CM will do everything he/she can to accommodate you. Good luck.
