Beauty and The Beast Themed Wedding!

I came across this as I was browsing photography blogs. It's an amazing Beauty and the Beast themed wedding at an amazing castle. Thought all of you planning weddings right now would be impressed.

The first thing I thought was, "Oh my goodness, that is the most awesome thing ever!"

The second thing I thought was, "The cost of that wedding would probably equal the GDP of a small country!"

Then I went back to awe and lust and jealousy. Because that wedding is pretty epic. Why aren't I rich? Rich looks like fun, darn it! Lol

I thought the same thing. I always wonder "What do these people do for a living that they can pay for that?"

A little over the top for my taste, but wow they did go all out!

We're hoping to have a Beauty and the Beast inspired wedding...nothing quite as over the top as that (even if we had the money...)

We're hoping to do some roses, books, "Be our Guest" save-the-dates...etc...there will also be some other Disney "magic" sprinkled in.

Wow! I'm not quite sure what to say about that. They look happy, I guess.

*I love Beauty and the Beast. We have toyed with the idea using it as our theme. With that said, that wedding is way over the top for us. Her dress was hideous, IMHO, the "father" in the cage is just creepy and the Beast looked more like Michael Jackson. The location was beautiful though.

If this was your wedding, I certainly don't mean to offend. The above is just my opinions. To each his own.

Couldn't agree more, I have to say. Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney movie but that is outrageous.

LOL. No this isn't my wedding. My taste is much simpler than that. And, my pocketbook much smaller. Haha. I just came across it while looking at wedding blogs. Most of the weddings featured on these types of blogs are over the top, mainly because they photograph better for print. I think the little BATB "knick Knacks" for the table centerpieces were cleverly used, and pretty tasteful.

Also, I don't think the characters were present during the ceremony. The article stated that they were from a theatrical company, which explains why they have more of a "stage make-up" look as opposed to an actual "theme park character" look. They actually performed the musical live at the reception, I thought that was pretty cool. Like a dinner theater reception. As a guest, I would have loved that!

I just think it's interesting to see how someone with a boatload of money in France plans a wedding.
