Tipping for an 8 night - The DIS Discussion Forums

Everything I read only gives the tipping rates for up to a 7 night cruise. I am on an 8 night out of Galveston and trying to set up my budget. Does anyone know what Disney charges as the recommended for this length?
I want to prepay.

The recommended tip is $12 per person per night. So on an 8 night cruise, you would be paying $96 per person.

All you have to do to pre-pay is to call DCL (or TA) and tell them you wish to do this.

Tips are $12 per guest per night of cruise...so 8 X $12 = $96. Multiply times the number of people in your party.

They have it all set up for you to pay. The option is not prepaying. If you wish to use cash and not prepay it, then you need to go to guest services on the ship and have them change it. Otherwise, you get envelopes and little cards to put in them with the amount that they are getting (set by Disney). You can also put extra cash in the little envelopes if you wish.

It's super super simple
