I'll Play for Gumbo.
This along with Math Sucks are two of DS17's favorite obscure Buffet songs.

That 70's song about a "brand new pair of roller skates and a brand new key" (the title escapes me at the moment).
Just like 500 miles, DD15 loves this song. She dances around when it comes up on the Xbox line up.

At Christmas time, Christmas Shoes and The Hippo song will get the channel changed in a heartbeat.

Mariah Carey, is the same.

The one song that I change the channel for but DH and the kids love to torture me with is Sweet Home Alabama. I swear, if you have a radio station in the state of AL, even the sport network channels, the am channels and talk radio channels, it is required of you to play this song at least once an hour.

That would be "Brand New Key" by the singer Melanie (I'm sure she has a last name, but didn't use it at the time)

Back in 1980 or so, "The Rose" by Bette Midler was really enough to wanna make me puke my guts out.

Back in junior high, anything by Donnie Osmond, Bobby Sherman, or the Partridge Family.

There is a whole sub-genre of Country music...Americana/Red Dirt/TxCountry even outlaw and alt country that you might like. There is a whole movement agaist the Nashville, pop country, hick hop, stuff that is popular right now.

Anything really repetitive - like "Get Out."
