Can we still get the dining plan?

We were thinking of booking our room at Port Orleans through Hotels.com, but can we still get the dining plan then?

Very confused! Lol

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the answer is NO. You have to book through Disney and get the package deal (room, tickets, etc.) You have to have a minimum 1 day ticket to purchase the dining plan but, again, I think you have to book the room and tickets through Disney.

Anyone know if I'm mistaken? I'd be interested to know if this is not the case.

I think the answer is NO as well. I remember when I was concidering booking through PriceLine - I did the math, and going through Disney was a better deal for us. Good luck!!

I've seen others post that when they find a deal on line on places like hotel.com, Expedia, etc they call Disney to see if they will match it. Maybe check in the resort board, they're experts over there!

You must book through Disney and get a package deal with tickets and the dining plan or through DVC as a member.

Disney won't match someone else and their price, but more times than not Disney has a discount out that gives you the same price as the competitor.
