I don't know what rock I have been living under, but I had never heard that song "Christmas Shoes" before. I checked out on youtube OMG. That made me very sad.

That song is so over-the-top sappy it borders on self-parody.

Me either...its very sad. Maybe you have to be a mom to feel it.

1) How can I help you say good-bye - Patty Loveless....I can't even think of this song and the words without getting a lump in my throat.

2) Christmas Shoes

3)I can't make you love me - Bonnie Rait tied with When she loved me/Jessie's song - Sarah McClachlan

I cry at songs a lot since becoming a mom (almost 9 years ago haha) Very sentimental. Some of the ones that get me may not be "sad" but for whatever reason, Off the top of my head:

You are my Sunshine
Remember When - Alan Jackson
Skin - Rascal Flatts
Austin - Blake Shelton (don't know why this makes me cry, but, everytime).
If Heaven - Andy Griggs

And everyone that has mentioned the Toy Story songs, YES! I think it's because my son is growing up way too fast, but I almost can't watch 2 and definitely can't watch 3 without bawling. I'm stopping now because I'm going to get emotional just writing them.

So many sad songs...

... now I'm sitting here feeling bad.

I'd add to the list Major Tom by David Bowie.
