Hollywood Tower Hotel - The DIS Discussion Forums

Ok, so it's not a rumor, but more of a wish. I would LOVE to see a new hotel themed after the Tower of Terror. With old Hollywood glam everywhere, the music, the style, everything. Throw in a bit of spooky sounds throughout the hallways, flickering lights, random storms outside some windows, a dedicated channel of Twilight Zone eps and scary movies playing; you know, the haunted feel. I would stay there every year!

I always thought there should have been a suite in there much like the castle suite. I'd love that. Something about the HTH is so classy and beautiful to me even in the state it's in.

Its also been my dream for a while to get married on its grounds. Its really quite beautiful.

I believe I had heard that the original idea was for it to be a haunted hotel you could stay in, with haunted effects in each room. But then they decided just to go with the ride only.

That's interesting. I've never heard anything like that. I do, however, remember there being plans for Haunted Mansion themed rooms:

I can just see the complaints now, though...

Another great theme! I would have def. stayed there and would have loved to have the cemetery in the back with "ghosts" rising out of the graves, etc.

They could eventually build the TOT DVC wing. Kidding. A Tower of Terror hotel would be awesome. So where do you think they should put it if they did build it?

I'd love to see it outside of HS. Not sure what the land avail. is there, but they already have hotels around the other parks and I LOVE being able to walk to Epcot or HS from the Beach Club when we go!
