Table Service Lunch at Magic Kingdom

I need to book a table service lunch at the Magic Kingdom.
It's for me and my 2 boys (6.5 and 5). I prefer to have my TS meals at breakfast or lunch as opposed to dinner. It's just easier since I never know how long the boys will last in the park, and generally by 4pm they want to just go back to the hotel and swim. And then I end up getting QS at the hotel. Which this works fine for us.

So... table service at Magic Kingdom.... anything to do with princesses is out. LOL And I know my boys don't care much for Winnie the Pooh & Co. but if you tell me that's the best food in the park for lunch, then I'll consider it. And yes, we have the dining plan.

Thanks

Hi
Liberty Tree Tavern is good for lunch. I don't eat meat, but I read that their burgers are really good. I usually get the Colony Salad without the chicken and it's delicious. The ooey gooey dessert is worth the trip!!

LTT is, in my opinion, the best TS for lunch for food. Tonys might have better atmosphere but it gets mixed reviews. (Mostly negative)

You mentioned you weren't interested in meeting Pooh and the gang but I wouldn't rule out Crystal Palace. We had lunch there on our last trip and i thought it was good and I'm not a fan of buffets.

As between LTT and The Plaza, I think the food is better at The Plaza, but there is nothing about the place that screams "We're At Disney World!" (unless you dine outside facing the castle). So your boys might not be terribly impressed. LTT has more of that immersive Disney feel to it, but the food can be variable. Good enough, I suppose. And if it matters at all, LTT is a much better use of a TS credit from a DDP standpoint.

We ate at The Plaza last trip and it was really good. The portions were pretty big and their french fries are delicious! We are trying Liberty Tree Tavern on our next trip because of how great everyone says the Toffee Cake is, so I think either one of those choices would be good.

This.

Also the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is definitely in the top 3 desserts in all of WDW. Many people would put it #1.

The Plaza kid's menu is really good, and they can get the great Mickey sundae for dessert too. Every seat has a view of the MK so it feels very Disney in there.

LTT is very good for lunch. It feels like a Philadelphia Tavern, which is fun but more "serious" for little kids.

I do the same, and my last trip we ate at LTT and Plaza. I prefered the Plaza. Food was better, and we could look outside at the castle. LTT was alright, but we sat for a good 15 minutes before I became fed up and begged a passing waitress to find someone to help us. Food was fine enough, but nothing special. Of course, I didn't know about this fantastic toffee dessert at the time....

The Plaza is always are final meal at the world. Usually have an evening flight. We spend the morning at MK doing the kids final ride. Have a great lunch and dessert at the Plaza. Then a final stroll down Main Street on our way back to the resort to catch ME.
