120 days out . . . wow, that was painful . . .

Although a veteran of DCL and never previously interested, we decided to get a cabana for our next cruise. Was able to snag one that I wanted, but down to three left on the family beach in only 3 minutes. I felt like a bundle of stress afterwards trying to get my Palo/Remy reservations squared away.

Just glad it is over (as far as scheduling)!

May 25, Fantasy Western. I think we are on the same one. As of right now, there is one cabana, #2, still available. Just a pain.

Hey, we are on your cruise! If you change your mind about the cabana, let me know... I'll even sweeten the pot...

Yep, just did mine last week for our May 18th Magic cruise. It's a bit stressful to see how quickly those Cabanas disappear but I got the one I wanted. I went ahead and booked a spa treatment I wanted as well but sent the rest of my requests to the Concierge team in an email. The DCL site is slow and I got error messages a couple of times.

Ive been stalking the 2/2 Fantasy cabanas since my 90 day. they were already gone then and no cancellations as of 5 minutes ago. I check at least 3 times a day and will check once on board too. I really hope one opens up. We are looking for Serenity Bay though. Its kind of funny, i was able to get one on my first cruise at 75 days out June 2011. They seem to be getting more and more popular.

I hate the stress of trying to get what I want. I am so glad when it's over!

I think I'd be happy with any cabana. I hope if I get a chance to book one, I don't over think it and miss out.

When I went online at 120 days out, the system wasn't working and I wasn't able to make any reservations until 5:00 am.

In my experience, Family Beach sells out faster.

Unfortunately, there are only 4 Adult Cabanas on Serenity Bay. DCL usually releases the first 3 at 120 days, and holds one back for conceirege later. Sometimes, the lack of inventory causes these to go quick as well.

At least for this morning, the Serenty Bay cabanas sold out first. I guess there are just so few of them.

Can someone please tell me what area do you need to go into in order to book the cabanas after you log into the cruise website. I want to be able to go right to that section and snag a cabana. This is our 1st time using our platinum status and we're taking my DSIL and her kids on this trip as a gift since she's going through a difficult divorce. I thought this would be a nice surprise since they've never been on a cruise before. Thanks!
