Take a look at the hotels on Palm Pkwy - in particular the Hawthorne Suites - no pressure at check in - suite sized rooms with separate living room/free hot breakfast for the next morning before you hit the road - and I think you can get in the price range you're looking for -
(We found it to be very easy/quick in the DTD area but not directly on Hotel Plaza Blvd.)
