Magic wrist bands

Was just reading about the new magic wrist bands to reserve rides, etc. Do you know if we will or could get them with our ktwc on the cruise?

The MagicBands are not yet in use at WDW. There is no official roll out date from Disney on these.

Day guests will not get them automatically. Resort guests, AP holders, and those that purchase a photo package will get them.

It should be soon on out day trip to disney a little under 2 weeks ago all the credit card machines had the sensors to read the bracelets....

Those machines are in use now. All Disney Resort KTTW cards have RFID chips embedded in them. You can use touch your KTTW card to those readers in the shops to charge back to your room. Also, the door locks at the Disney Resorts are touch to unlock just like on the Dream and Fantasy.

The MagicBands will have a phased rollout. Rumor is that the BoardWalk Inn will be the first resort that will get them.
