Can you use a disney gc on board without attaching it to room?
Meaning--can kids use gift card directly in stores on board without having charges going to room first? Same question for smoothies? Thx!

I believe a Disney gift card can be used in the gift shops, but nowhere else without having it applied to the stateroom account (so not for smoothies). If they are making smoothies in the kids club, it will be free; at other times/locations there will be a charge.

I know last year, you could use a gift card in the shops on the Fantasy and the Dream, but NOT on the Wonder or Magic. We gave the three kids gift cards, and that's how they bought their extra souvieneers.
