Considered Ben Affleck to direct Star Wars?!?!
Before nabbing JJ Abrams to direct the new Star Wars, they were supposedly close to asking Ben Affleck?!?!? Really?!?!?!?

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I read that. Ben Affleck???? Seriously?

It just seemed completely crazy to me! To hand over this big a task to someone who has only directed 3 films -- and not nearly the scale, scope or genre of Star Wars. Very odd to me!

I still wish they hadn't acquired it..More reason NOT to do more hand-drawn animation.
