How bad is this thing? My sister told me its like test track with loops and no drops. Can anyone tell me what they thought of it?

That's actually not a bad description. The Test Track part is the take off. I don't remember the speed it takes off at, but it's pretty fast. A couple of loops. It's really a lot of fun, and I'm a 55 year old woman.

Well, there's a snug fitting harness over the head and shoulders -- so not really like Test Track, because you are fitted securely into your seat. Feels nice and safe!
It does invert multiple times, but it is very fast, super loud, dark and overall disorienting. Also very short -- so even if you hate it -- it ends quickly. ![]() I happen to love it -- but have taken friends who were less convinced of its wonderfulness. |

The loops do go upside down.
That being said, I much prefer RnRC to Space Mountain. It's much smoother and I like having at least some sense as to where I'm going (Space Mountain is too dark and jerky). |

The first part is pretty intense. The sling shot you from 0 to like 60 one second. You imediately go into the upside down loop after that. It took me a good 30 seconds before I would open my eyes. LOL

it's like space mountain turned up to 11.
![]() it's a very smooth ride...just remember to try to inhale before the launch countdown gets to zero...

Really Not Bad!
One of my favorites! I too was a bit nervous of the loops, but from the first launch til after the first loop is the most of it. The rest is just very fast and loads of fun. I actually sat with my daughter a few times in 1st row car and thoroughly enjoyed it and of course with my eye shut!
Have fun!

out of a cannon
Here's how I'd describe it:
You feel like you've been shot out of a cannon in the beginning. The G force pressing against you is pretty powerful. The coaster is very smooth so it isn't hard on your back, neck, or shoulders. To me, it feels like you are being pulled faster than a coaster normally goes as you race around loops and dips with cool neon signs and Aerosmith songs. Don't forget to open your eyes, even if they are watering from the intensity of the coaster! I don't ride Space Mountain anymore because the unexpected (in the dark) turns and bumps hurt my neck, but I ride this one with no issues. |

RnRC as per its description is a roller coaster and the only real comparison to TT is that you are in a car and TT has some fast sections but thats about it.
What your sister may be referring to "that its like TT" is that there are no real drops. Like click, click, click up a hill and over the top and down. Its a launched coaster so there is no need for hills and gravity to get you moving. Now there are some drops but the track layout has been described as a spaghetti bowl. You never go very high and you never drop very low.
