The most we've ever gone is twice in one year. We have gone at least once a year every year for 13 years. This is probably our last year going every year. Thinking we'll start alternating with universal now that my older two are older. We also like to do other GASP non-Disney vacations so we do that also at least once a year.

We went in Nov 2008, Dec 2009, Feb 2012, and are going May 2013. So I guess we go once every 18 mos- 36 mos...I still get shocked people when I post it on facebook or wherever how I can afford to go so much. But we also go on cruises through a different cruise line also. Went on one this past September and going again in August. I just tell them I love to travel and that's where my money goes. Some like nice houses or cars, some like to shop, some like to drink and party. My money goes to traveling. And I am no where near rich. I'm a single mom of two. No child support. No government check. Not the best paying job by far. And I have child care cost. I'm very good at budgeting and being responsible. And that's just what I dedicate my spendings and time to, as someone else said. That's really all it takes. I don't consider Disney or Cruises to be an expensive vacation. We'd love to go to Hawaii, but haven't found a way yet, now that's an expensive vacation. We also drive to Disney...

The most we've been in a year has been twice, but they were both short (1-3 day) trips.

We have two 3-week trips planned for 2013. We have lost track of out trips - the closest I can come is an estimate - over 40. We did go 6 times in 2008.

We go every year and 3 years ago went twice in a year. To me it lost some of the MAGIC pixie dust: going twice, so I now prefer to go once a year.
There is just something about driving in and seeing the Walt Disney sign and then when you get on Main Street, I am one of the moms crying, it just brings back so many memories and I also know it will bring many new moments.... Love love Disney.....the place where dreams come true!!!! |

The most we've been in one year is 3 times. We have started going twice a year and are having a hard time only going once this year. I thought more than once would take away the magic but it doesn't, we will always go as often as we can. Our May trip is always the big trip for the year so anything else is just extra magic!

We once made 4 trips on a set of APs. Wow, that was fun and tiring.

Well, we live in Florida and have APs so this prob doesn't count. But, we've gone 5 times since we got the APs last Feb. This will be our last trip before the pass expires, so we're going on 6 trips. We'll be renewing so we'll prob go for a last minute weekend trip and our May trip before baby comes. We go quite a bit, but we live so close. DH caught the Disney bug and apparently we can't go more then 3 months without visiting, lol.

We live in NJ and usually go Easter (fly), August(drive) and November (fly) each year.
Disney is where we chose to spend our money because we know we will have a great vacation! I get the "you are going again?" comments all the time. One year when SW was really, really cheap out of PHL we actually went 5 times and stayed at CSR each time. I cannot say it got old once that year. Each trip is different but the memories are all magical! DD5 has been on 17 Disney trips....

I know the feeling of someone saying you have been how many times??? Most of my friends think my family is crazy. We have gone so often that my kids have become friends with some of the characters. There is one Jasmine that actually know my kids by their first name. She will tell them "I haven't seen you since... and when will you be back." I think people standing in line with us must think we are crazy..... And we have become friends with half the staff at the Flying Fish.
On our current AP we have been 5 times for 47 days. We still have almost 30 days before these APs expire! And I was looking for a way to fit in one more trip in Feb since we haven't been in a couple of months. We have had APs for the last 3 years and I believe we average 4 trips a year. If we do not go within 3 months we start having withdrawls. Plus my favorite excuse is that my kids are only this young once ![]() Once you have an AP and are DVC members the cost can be minimized if you just stay away from eating food out every night. And why not use the APs as much as you can. We live about 6 hours away. So we can drive there easily. And for those that worry it will cause you to miss some of the Magic. Actually, we have found going more often makes our trips better since you don't feel so rushed to do everything in a day. No more commando trips for us. And you can always stay at different resorts if you want a change. You don't feel guilty for going back to the pool and not staying in the parks all day long. |

We have gone 4 times in 2.5 years. We went twice last year but ya it has that affect on people. I have a friend that mentions that we go to Disney ALL THE TIME. It gets really annoying. We love it there and so do the kids. I am cherishing the princess years for as long as I can.

good answer! People are obnoxious. The most we ever went was three times in a year (plus a Disney cruise). I wish it were easier/cheaper to get there and that the kids' school/sports/activities schedules would let us go back to those three times a year days.

I get to ride in all my new vehicles: buses, boats, cruise ships, and monorails. It is just I only get to visit and use them 3 times a year.
