I'd be happy to help! You've got tons of time to decide. I can probably make what ever you want in a week or two
Ah so awesome! I will definitely let you know

I can see why that family was picked--talk about bright clothing and trying to be Family of the Day!

That stinks that ETWB was closed. I bet people weren't too happy about that one!

Little Mermaid ride! AHHH! Can't wait!

Presley is so adorable. Sheesh!

That childhood joy is one of the best parts of WDW! We hadn't get to see Ariel in her grotto before it closed either so we were pretty excited about it too! How cute that Sawyer's getting into it too! I love it.

Yeah they definitely fit Family of the Day criteria!

People looked pretty angry! I felt bad for the poor CM who was assigned to deliver the bad news.

Thank you! I think that little munchkin is pretty darn cute too

So when we left off, we were in FLE having just met Ariel and rode the Journey of the Little Mermaid.

Now we were headed into the rest of Fantasyland because ETWB wasn't open at RD and when we were done, it was open and had a 45 minute wait so we decided to move on and come back.

So we did Winnie the Pooh which I don't think we did last time!

It was so adorable and I love Winnie the Pooh and the heffalumps. Also, the hunny screens in the line are so much fun to play with. Especially if you're 5 or me, who thinks like a 5 year old.

Next, we decided it was prime time to head to Space Mountain. On the way however, we spotted a character we hadn't met yet!! While I skipped off to the line, Chris followed behind with about 1/4 of my enthusiasm.

I was sad Alice wasn't out too but a character is a character especially when he's a white rabbit! Obviously it didn't take that long because we got in line after 9:57 when I photographed the topiaries and took off skipping and were seeing these sights at 10:06:

DSCN0660 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

DSCN0661 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

Clearly the MK was empty this morning.

Photo0493FourBySix by RN Courtney, on Flickr

A pretty boring ride photo. I feel like the camera on Space isn't positioned to get exciting pictures. I know we also rode Space at another point and didn't get the ride photo cause we ended up in the last seat of one car and the first one of the next but I can't be certain when that happened. For the sake of this TR and because no one can prove otherwise, we'll say we rode standby and pulled a FP and went again before leaving Tomorrowland.

Next we headed to save the galaxy!

We take this ride very seriously. Even though I lose every time. I pretend I know what I'm shooting at and stand a chance.

Since we had just saved the galaxy, it was time to meet Buzz. If you are like Chris and protest to tell me we met Buzz already, have no fear. It's completely different. This is MK, that was DHS. Here, we get to meet Buzz alone. And with a different background. Duh.

I wish I remembered what was so funny. But suffice it to say, Buzz was very entertaining.

And to complete Tomorrowland (for the moment!), we had to go to:

DSCN0674 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

I love the CoP. I know it's silly and obviously not cutting-edge anymore but I mean, it was Walt's brainchild. And who can't like that?

While we were in space, Presley was Under the Sea taking the most adorable pictures with Ariel in the whole universe.

She just looks so tiny next to Ariel, I can't take it. My heart melts. Obviously I need my own children to take to WDW.

Photo0505FourBySix by RN Courtney, on Flickr

With our adventures in the world of tomorrow done, we were on a character HUNT. I knew the Fairy Godmother's last set was going on and we HAD to get there now.

DSCN0675 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

We did. And her handler took exactly this one picture of us with her. Kind of annoying but we made it! And the Fairy Godmother was perfectly awesome asking us about all our dreams and wishes.

Mission Accomplished. And we were headed up Main Street for more character.

DSCN0676 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

Why is this sight so breath-taking?? And why is it not September yet?

DSCN0677 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

Photo0528FourBySix by RN Courtney, on Flickr

While the castle is gorgeous at this time of day, all of our (many) sets of photopass pictures from the journey up Main Street feature us with our wonderful squinty-eyed, blinded-by-the-sun looks on our faces.

Marie and Pluto were both there but we only had time to pick one before they went inside, so Marie it was since we never met her and we had seen Pluto at Epcot already.

Yay!!

Winnie the pooh is such a cute ride! Super adorbs!
You guys got so many characters in there, heck yes!! I'm glad that DBF follows along with those even if he doesn't really want to haha. I never do well on buzz! It never fails, I will FAIL AT LIFE on it.

Presley is absolutely adorable with Ariel, man, I cannot wait to have kids so I can take them to Disney. Heck, one of my friends wants to take his nephew and wants me to go with them and I'm SO DOWN FOR THAT!! This is why I love dismeets, I'm like, I'll totally spend an entire day meeting characters with your kids bahah!

As I was looking at the pics of Presley and Ariel I was thinking "she looks so tiny!" and then you said the same thing! Those are truly adorable.

You guys were getting a ton of stuff done that morning, and yes it is a totally different character experience than the one you had at DHS. What is wrong with men?

Courtney and Katt you guys will love taking your kids to WDW. There is something so special about seeing the magic through their eyes. Adult trips are pretty great too though, enjoy them while you can.

You guys got a lot done! I'm glad to see another CoP fan I remember it being one of my favorite rides when I went when I was little, so it always holds a special place in my heart! Your DBF sounds like mine when it comes to characters haha he is less than thrilled to wait on line for them but he does it for me anyway. I told him it's good practice if we ever have kids

Yay for another gorgeous day!

The Pooh ride is sooo sweet. I love the honey wall too. Normally, I'm such a germaphobe I would never touch such a thing. scared1: But they're Disney germs, magic germs you know?!! The stuff of imagineers!

I love that you got to see the White Rabbit and Fairy Godmother. DD wanted to find the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter. A CM told us we had just missed the White Rabbit and the Mad Hatter was only in parades. No worries, next time.

I noticed too that Presley looks so sweet and tiny next to Ariel. Too funny since she didn't seem to look that small even in the pics with Buzz and Woody. Her dress is amazing.

Courtney - there's nothing like taking children to Disney and seeing the surprise and happiness on their faces. I think most of the pics and footage from our first trip was just that! (I've since learned to include actual things we did in the parks ) I was just in awe of how happy my kids were seeing everything for the first time. You're going to love it!

There should be some sort of Disney magic that allows time travel so that a trip is always just a week away.

Winnie the Pooh is so adorable!

He refuses to get excited about character meets but when they actually happen, he really does enjoy the fun ones! He's always talking about Ariel having the best meeting location! Yeah, Buzz and I don't work out. I can't possibly ever figure out what I'm shooting at because all the red lights look the same.

Thank you! I totally agree, I'm up for borrowing some children in WDW Just not in a creepy way.

I don't know why she looks especially tiny there! I guess because Ariel has a super ginormous fin! She looks like a little doll

I'm glad you see my point about the multiple character meets. I figured you may since you have the most impressive list of characters met on your last trip.

I do enjoy our adult trips and how we can just do things without the responsibility of children. I will enjoy them for a few more years. However, you are totally right. It is seeing the magic through their eyes that I can't wait for. DBF and I have watched Disney family trip videos together and he comments the same, that he can't wait to take kids to Disney, so I forsee many many Disney trips with future children.

CoP is such classic Disney to me. I can't help but adore it.

It must be in the unwritten DBF handbook that they must not be excited about character meets but then enjoy them in the end!

It ended up to be such a gorgeous day after the morning fog lifted!

You are totally correct: Disney germs are different! There are certain behaviors that come with living in NYC and being a nurse that I tend to try to let go in WDW.

The White Rabbit seems to be one of the more difficult ones to catch. We just kind of happened upon him at the right time. The only place we found the Mad Hatter last trip was at 1900 Park Fare for breakfast!

Aw thank you! She does look like a little doll. I know, I'm thinking she looks extra tiny because of Ariel's huge fins

Aw I adore watching family trip videos with little kids in WDW. I can see how it is easy to focus just on their faces. I'm sure these are wonderful memories for you! I can not wait to have that experience (well I can wait a few more years )

Storybook Circus

Hey everyone! My office has felt like a zoo the past 2 weeks ugh. Because of the way our paperwork has to be done, our months end on the 20th so all paperwork must be in by the 18th so that it can be processed and sent off to the government by the 20th so that week is the worst ever. Then yesterday, a very negative article about our company was published in a highly respected newspaper so the past 2 days have been full of meetings and talks about policy. Not my two favorite things.

IN BETTER (and Disney related news), it seems that FREE DINING is to be released on May 9th for September! I'm pretty excited. We've never done the DDP before so we were already really excited about our ADRs for this trip and it being free just makes it that much better!

Anyway, when we left off, we were meeting Marie and Presley was in this new place on the other end of the park:

PS I apologize in advance for the millions of photos to follow. The PP photographers took so many and they were all too cute not to share. If you are not as interested as I in 234333 very similar pictures, feel free to scroll through a little faster!

As you may recall, we had been meeting Marie while Presley was in storybook circus. So after that, the plan had been for us to stop in to see Mickey and the Princesses. However, the lines were longer than we wanted to wait so we FPed both of them. When I got the Mickey FPs, it shot out a surprise FP for Dumbo. I think it was around 12:20 at this point and our FPs for Dumbo, Mickey and the Princesses were for 1:10-2:10. Since we had no other plans at this point, we decided to hike across the park to Dumbo and use our surprise FPs.

Last trip, we hadn't rode because the lines were always crazy and I was excited to see the re-done version. We also knew Jen and Rick were in that direction so we called them to see if they'd want us to take Presley on with us but they declined saying they were in line to meet Pooh and Tigger and had just rode Dumbo about 4 times that morning. Presley is OBSESSED with Dumbo. Chris and I made it our mission to show her a bunch of Disney movies before our trip and for some reason, Dumbo is the one she got stuck on!

We stopped for PP pictures along the way.

Yay Storybook Circus! We hadn't come into this part of FLE earlier so I was pretty excited to see it!

DSCN0690 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

DSCN0691 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

We had some time to kill before our FPs were good so we popped into Big Top Treats for some sodas AND the purchase of a DUMBO stuffed animal. I thought it was fitting for the moment and it was totally adorable. I filled out the form to have it sent back to Pop and we went back outside and sat for a few minutes enjoying the atmosphere!

DSCN0692 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

Soon enough it was time to ride. I love how pretty it is too! DBF was a little irritated when he realized that he had just walked across the park to a very child-oriented ride, especially because we were about to head back to where we just came from to meet Mickey and the Princesses. Oh well. It's Disney, that's what you do!

DSCN0693 by RN Courtney, on Flickr

While we were on Dumbo, Presley had some Hundred Acre Wood friends to meet!

After they were done, they met us by Dumbo. I knew we were headed back up to Main Street and they were off to Tomorrowland. I offered to take Presley with us to meet Mickey and the Princesses so Jen and Rick could hit Space Mountain together. I don't remember why but they didn't go for it. So we parted ways and agreed to meet up around 2:30 to watch the parade!

First up: Mickey himself! I was wearing a shirt just for him and he LOVED it. Like was jumping up and down pointing to it and himself until the Photopass photographer would acknowledge him "Yes Mickey, she does love you. We all know!"

DBF decided to drive poor Rapunzel crazy and ask if she would make her hair glow for him. When she said, I can't because I lost the power when I cut it all off, he promptly responded with "Shouldn't it be short and brown then?" Yeah. He was that guy. Clearly we watch too much Tangled because this thought had literally been bothering him for months before the trip and he couldn't wait for Rapunzel's explanation. I don't remember her exact explanation but I have to say, she was right on her toes with it!

Next was Aurora, who was just ok. I feel like that's how all our Auroras' have been though. It may just be because Sleeping Beauty isn't one of our favorites so it just doesn't stand out to us.

Then it was Cinderella! We both agreed she was the prettiest friend of Cinderella we've encountered.

I can't remember what we chatted about but I appear to be in thought and Cinderella looks shocked lol so it really could be anything. I do remember that we both really liked this friend of Cinderella so it must've been entertaining!

When we were done, it was still a bit too early for the parade but it was hot, we were tired and had just ran in circles for a bit so we decided to sit and wait anyway. We took turns going in the shops for some A/C and then Jen, Rick and Presley came to meet us!

Despite the fact that these photos are taken in front of a garbage can, they are some of my favorite pictures ever. Presley got really attached to Chris on this trip and she was always calling for him, even when we weren't with them so she was really happy to be sitting with him waiting for the parade.

Iím so pumped for FD!! Also that it looks like all the mods and deluxes are getting the regular ddp! Winning! SO excited! And yes, the WPE pizzas are one credit!

Presleyís too cute, I love how she looks so intensely while they sign the autographs! I know Iím impressed watching them when sometimes a character can maintain eye contact with you and keep conversation going while signing some elaborate signature and its awesome! That takes work!

Yay characters!! Cute that Mickey was so excited! Baha on Chris being that guy, though I have always wondered, and Iíve always wondered how old Ariel would say she is if you asked, and then I always want to bring up her daughter, but I donít want to be that person lol. Honestly, I think Cinderella just looks better after her redesign, she looks way prettier! Adorable pics of Presley and Chris, those are so cute!
