Sorry I didn't see this earlier to respond! I think the place was Williamsburg Woodlands or something like that. If you do a google search for colonial williamsburg it will have info on tickets and places to stay. There are several, not the cheapest, but not fancy, just your basic hotel with breakfast. But very conveient. You could walk to historic area if you wanted, but shuttles are available if you prefer because Williamsburg is HOT in the summer.

The bounce ticket have been posted now http://seaworldparks.com/buschgarden...icketsTourists
I wonder if they'll go down in price at all as the summer gets closer? Not sure now if I want to buy them or the Super Grover Pass for $169 which includes all the Busch owned parks, then we could go to BG multiple times over the summer. Although the SG pass does not include CW.

Well after finishing our tax return we are def. NOT going to WDWor DL this year...unless some extra $ pops up from somewhere!
I've started to read reviews for hotels and condo rentals. Hoping to find one for less than $500 for 6 nights(We're spoiled by the rental prices in FL)...keeping my fingers crossed. My 10 y.o. dd is doing a unit on Colonial times right now in school so I think CW will be great for us this year!

So I've been pricing out hotels that have good rating on Tripadvisor and they cost double what we'd pay to stay near WDW, in a condo nonetheless....getting frustrated.
Thinking we may only be able to afford to go for 4-5 nights instead of 7-8 and then we won't get as much use out of the bounce tix.

We're going to Williamsburg for a week this summer. We've only ever done weekends, so this is a chance to see it more in depth.
We're Marriott owners and traded into Marriott's Manor Club Sequel. Honestly, my 11 and 13 year olds are thrilled to be going. They love Disney, but have made it clear they want to do and see other things. |

Stayed at GreenSprings, and would recommend it. There should be a lot of time-share condo resorts. You might try to look them up, and contact them directly about a weeks rental. Also, try VRBO, for condo units for rent by owner. You can usually tell which condos and owners have been around with good reviews. You might do much better on the costs that way. Hope this helps! |

Me again...
Out of curiosity, I pulled up VRBO. These people seem to get good reviews, renting condos at some of the resorts in the area. Maybe they would be helpful? One review mentioned something about the owner's web-site... So, if you were to contact them, and get a link to the web-site, then you might find a lot more info about the condos and resorts that they handle??? http://www.vrbo.com/147249 |
