I just confirmed a cabana #20 for our May cruise. Question?? Is lunch served at Serenity Bay or do we have to go back o Cookies? If it is served there is the food different than what is served at Cookies?
Cabana location? Is there a map that shows the where #20 is? Thanks in advance! This was a hard decision to make, spending a fare amount of money on the Cabana is something that we have only talked about!

Lunch is served at Serenity Bay. They have the same selections as Cookies, plus some other goodies. For instance, they grill steaks. Sometimes they have lobster burgers and other treats. It depends on the cruise and what is left in the galley. For instance, if it is not a 7 night cruise (which serves lobster), there won't be any leftover lobster.......

Thank you! I was hoping we didn't have to walk back to Cookies!
The Cabana is going to be a surprise to my DH and my adult kids

We were in #18 on our Oct 2011 cruise and absolutely LOVED having it! On a whim DH happened to check a couple of days before our CC day to see if one was available and there were 2. The night before CC they delivered a large envelope that had a pop up model of the cabana along with wrist bands and info. Once we got to Serenity Bay, we checked in (podium near massage huts) and our "cabana boy" drove us to it in a golf cart. He showed us around and pointed out the call button if we needed him to bring us drinks or drive us to lunch. The walk was very short so we didn't bother. You and your DH are going to love it! I'll post pictures later. Enjoy!

Here are the pics of cabana #18 at Serenity Bay from our Oct. 2011 cruise...What the pics don't show are the couple of steps off the side of the front deck to the sand. That's also were they have the floats stored. If you look at the picture towards the bottom you can see #19 and #20 off to the side. Any questions let me know. Enjoy!!

Thank you so much for the pictures!!!
The steps are manageable for my daughter and the walk to the beach looks short as well. I think the cost for the cabana is high but maybe worth the cost

Thanks for posting the Cabana pictures!
We will be in #19 on Sunday!!!!! I love the cabanas, we had one on family beach last January. It was the best decision, especially with 2 toddlers. This year just us, no kids or grandkids this time.

There are beach wheelchairs available as you exit the ship off to the left (by the wagons). I found them difficult to push, but then, I'm a 50 something and was pushing an adult. They do work better on sand than the regular (skinny tire) wheelchairs.

We had cabana 20 in May. Here are some photos of it.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I hope you enjoy it. It was the best part of our entire cruise. Serenity bay is exactly that - serene. We LOVED it and are hoping to be sprinkled with some pixie dust for our upcoming June cruise - we really want a cabana on SB again... but we are lowly silver CC members so I am not counting on it.

DVC Jen thank you for posting the pics! The cabana looks wonderful and your pics were AMAZING
We are looking forward to the splurge on the cabana we normally have to leave the beach early so our daughter can take her medications and take a nap.....BUT with the cabana she can do that and still enjoy the ocean air

Cabanas are a small piece of heaven on a heavenly island. Here are a few things that aren't commonly posted or known to first timers: There is a safe in them, just as in your onboard cabin. You can eat lunch there (table and chairs). Your host will give you a ride to/from the buffet. There are plugs (for example, to recharge your phones) There is a changing curtain for get into/out of swimwear They provide cold drinks and some snacks, as well as suntan lotion. A drink host will come and take your order for alcoholic drinks and bring them to you. Private hammock, personal float tubes, free bicycle rentals They provide a plate of cold, wet towels. Great for cleaning/cooling off. Lot of chairs inside and out (on the porch) for relaxing At the end of the day, our host took us from our cabana to the ship's reboarding point in his golfcart. Wow! |
