What Time Does the Dinner version of Dine with Shamu Typically Begin?

We have reservations for dinner on Saturday, March 9. The Sea World website states that “Dinner start time can be between 4:30pm and 6:30pm. Check in at the Information & Reservations Counter by 3:00pm to receive your dining time.” Does anyone know when the dinner typically occurs?

On our reservation day the final “One Ocean” show is at 4:00 pm and there is a “Shamu Rocks” at 6:30 pm.

I want to say 4:15, but I'm not 100% sure.

autigger, I was wondering the same thing.

We will be there on a day the parks are open late and was wondering how they fit the dinners in on longer days. Are the dinners in between shows? I was wondering if we would have time to see the Shamu Rocks show at 7:30.

That is exactly why I asked. We are hoping to catch Shamu Rocks after dinner also.

Let us know what time your dinner time ends up being in relation to the One Ocean and Shamu Rocks show times! I have a reservation at the beginning of April and am wondering the same thing.

We went to "Dine With Shamu" on Saturday, March 9 and the dinner was at 4:15. The "one ocean" show was going on while we ate. When the dinner and presentation were over we had plenty of time to ride a couple of rides in the kids harbor area and find good seats for Shamu Rocks at 6:30 pm.

The staff said that 4:15 was a typical time for "Dine With Shamu".

We were there on the 5th of marts and Dine With Shamu started at 4,15 so we could catch One Ocean after. I was a bit disappointed with DWS. It used to be my favorite thing to do at SW, but I didn't like the changes they made.

May I ask what changes they made?

Starting 3/23 the dinner will be at 5:30...it is just temporary to accommodate all the spring breakers and I believe it ends the beginning of April.

We were there when the park was open 9a-10pm. Our Dining With Shamu dinner time was at 5:30pm. We were able to catch the 7:30 Shamu Rocks show with no problem.
