Arrow How do the restaurant rotations work?

Hello everyone!

First cruise, quick question...

On the restaurant rotations, when you are assigned a restaurant, is it always a specified meal or is it up to the guest? I am curious to know if we'll be eating dinner at each restaurant on our 3 night cruise on the DREAM.

Thanks!

You are assigned a restaurant rotation (where to go), each restaurant had a fairly extensive menu, you order what you like.

You will receive you dining rotaion when you checkin at the port. I don't know which cruise you are asking about, but, each MDR has it's own Signature menu (that takes care of 3 nights of your cruise). If you are on a longer cruise there are different menus, each of which is served in all MDRs on the same night. Pirate menu shows up with a 4 night. Then there are fomal/semi-formal menus that get added in (Prince and Princesses, Captain's Gala, or Golden Mickeys, for example). And DCL also has Welcome Aboard, Till We Meet Again, See Ya Real Soon menus, also. You can find the menus on this link: http://disneycruiselineblog.com/

I just realized that you said you're doing a 3 night, so each night each dining room will be serving it's own Signature menu. On the menus are a variety of soups, appitizers, entrees, lighter fare, and vegetarian options. The dessert menu also has several selections. You pick as many of these items as you wish.

You are assigned a restaurant rotation for the dinner meal. You get an opportunity to eat at each of the restaurants and your servers "travel" with you each night to that restaurant (well, not actually "with" you, they'll be at the same restaurant!).

Your assignment only applies to dinner. For breakfast and lunch, you look at the Navigator to see what hours are open at the various places and choose where you want to eat.

You will have dinner at each of the restaurants roughly an equal number of times (like on a 7 night cruise you'll eat in 2 restaurants twice and one 3 times. On a 3 night, you'll eat at each once). Your only other assignments will be the last day breakfast and IF your cruise offers it, the character breakfast. If you don't like your last day breakfast assignment time, you can eat at the pool deck restaurant
