Scooters, Taxis, and Nassau--Oh My

I asked this on a different thread regarding Nassau, but never received an answer, so I'm trying a new thread.

My grandfather will be using a scooter for our upcoming Dream cruise leaving this coming Sunday. He loves casinos, so we're thinking of taking him up to Atlantis for a little bit to show him around and let him play a few slots. We don't want to pay for an excursion when this is all we really want to do, so we'll need a taxi. Does anyone have any experience getting a handicap accessible taxi at the pier? Any difficulties or drama? How about the return to the ship?

We never used a taxi in Nassau, but we were stopped by atleast 10 different people saying they have the only WC accessible taxi on the island. We had to stop from laughing at them after the 4th or 5th one approached us. so yes they do have them.
