Hoop de Doo or Back YardBBQ ?

There will be at least 7 of us (maybe a couple more?) ... 3 adults and 4 kids, 10,10,11 and 14. Pretty much non-picky eaters.

Which would you recommend?

I've never done the Backyard BBQ - my kids are too old for that now - but we always do HDDR. The entertainment makes it so worthwhile - you're kids will love it as will the adults. Food is plentiful too - you definitely don't leave hungry. Enjoy whatever you decide.

1) Do HDDR.
2) In most measurement criteria, BBQ is a rip-off.

Seriously, the BBQ is terrible. Most people don't even stay for the whole thing. The entertainment, particularly when the characters dance with the kids, is a total nightmare..

I would do the HDDR. It's climate-controlled, they bring the food to your table, and you get a great show.

Definitely, since you don't have little kids, do the HDDR. Actually I would have recommended HDDR even if you DID have little ones.

HDDR - we love the show and the food. It is great. I also agree it is indoors and that is priceless!

Haven't been to HDR in a while, but have been to BBQ recently. It's OK..food is fine, nothing great. It is buffet as HDR is table service.

The 2 outstanning points of BBQ is DH likes the fact they serve beer (no extra charge) and DS loves the case full of ice cream novelities for dessert (especially Mickey Ice Cream bars).

Other minuses for BBQ is it doesn't happen every night so your choices of when to go will be limited. It is outdoors and even though they have "ceilings" over heas weather can play a factor ...rain, excessive, heat, etc. And you really have to like country music as they have a live band playing.

I really DO want to live there!
I circulate my paper clips at work so they all get used or I feel like they'd be sad if they didn't get a "turn".

They do the same at the HDDR. And it's served in Mason jars!

Echoing the PP who said the cornbread is delicious.
