Going on Dream in april, appears the cruise price has dropped?

Can I re-book? Just paid cruise in full!

After the PIF date, penalties start. You will most likely lose at least your deposit. Price it out, see if, even with the penalties, you will save money. That's why they wait until after the PIF date to offer those last-minute fares.

Be aware there are several restrictions with the *GT fares, among them, must pay in full at booking, must have everyones full name and birthdate at booking, no changes, no requests about room (location), and no refunds.

You definitely need to call Disney. If your cruise fare dropped just because they lowered the price, they will refund you money. You don't need to cancel and rebook. There are certain offers they do that would require you to pay penalties such as IGT, OGT, and VGT, but some offers such as Kids Sail Free do allow you to get a refund even if you're in the penalty phase. If you log on and the price is just simply lower, they will refund your money. Call!!!!

ETA: Please let us know what you find out when you call! I'm guessing you'll have good news.

There have been other posts about this just recently. And, to make you feel better, the person that posted the question did get a refund even after her PIF date. I had already called Disney because our PIF date was December 31st, and it looked as if they might offer KSF for our cruise. My mom, who is cruising with us, did have to cancel, pay penalties, and rebook for the military rates, but for us, KSF would just simply give us a refund. Additionally, if the price drops, Disney will refund you money. It all depends on the reason the price is lower. I know that if they just lower it, you will most definitely get money back. Good luck!

I am the person referenced in the link above and it is true. I just happened to check the DCL site about 46 days before our cruise, after I was PIF, and noticed that the price for our concierge room on the magic for my family of 5 was $972 lower than what we paid. I called my TA, she called DCL, and the refund showed up on my credit card 2-3 days later. No penalties, nothing. Needless to say I was and still am ecstatic!!!

You all got me curious and I just went and checked the rates on our stateroom category (we have two adjoining 5B staterooms on the Fantasy). The rates have gone up $1470.00 per stateroom!

Do you mean if you've booked with a regular booking and then they offer a KSF promotion or are you asking if you already booked with a KSF and then they lower the price? I'm a little confused but just finished teaching power point and inserting pictures to first graders, and that frazzles me sometimes.

For what cruise date? We are on the Dream in April also, i do not think they have KSF & my xruise is paid but the PIF date is still a week away

we are on the dream in april..I actually paid in full today...which date are you talking about...on another note on the first day of this year...disney dropped the price of our crusie and we just recieved an email stating that the taxes were lowered

well I just checked and it's not my date...
