This may not matter in your case, but for people who are planning to go to WDW for a few days, I think it's best to go to the parks first. We went on the Dream and then to WDW afterwards for 4 days in 2011. The main problem was that you disembark so early that you get to WDW mid-morning and you can't check into you room. We were exhausted and our kiddo needed a nap, but our room wasn't available yet and wasn't available until 4 p.m. However, if you have older children or don't think you'll need a rest after disembarkation and traveling from the port, then maybe this wouldn't be an issue.

We did Universal after our 5 night cruise in March but I think we would have rather done parks before and that was with just the two adults!

Plus, after being on a cruise, it's tough being presented with a bill when ordering food.
