Once registration officially opens, they usually start posting percentages on the runDisney site once it starts looking like it will close. But that's for "normal situations", which this clearly is not.

Yes! Go to Chase, log in, then click "card perks". You can then click on "Theme Park Perks", then "Disneyland Resort", and you should be able to find a link to early registration.

I just went to disneyrewards.com & put 'rundisney' in the search box.

Count me in for the DDD!! Picked up Dumbo Mickey ears for it this weekend. Haven't decided on the 5k yet. Going to play it by ear and watch the % before I make up my mind. Talked to a girl at the expo on Fri. about it and she said both 5/10K's are starting at the parking lot like the 5k has been and the finish line is now the 1/2 finish line if anyone's looking at both on Sat.

I noticed online that they say there are some discount tickets available for those who are signed up for the run. Does anyone know if they have 1 day park hoppers? We have a 5 day purchased but would like to add one day on. It seems crazy though in price (really miss those 6 day park hoppers!!!). If we don't buy a 1 day then we would need to upgrade to a premium annual pass (which also seems crazy for 6 people!) Especially considering we live so far away from Disneyland! (Maine!). Thanks for any help. Also, I saw room discounts were available too. THose are only on standard rooms I bet, right? Thanks!

They do have discounted tickets, the website is Get Travel. For the 1 day they offer, or have in the past, both the 1 park and park hopper. Another option that they do depending on how much time you want to spend in the park offer twilight tickets where it's 1 park and you go in either at 4pm or a certain number of hours before closing. Kind of like a 1/2 day pass. For the discounted rooms, in the past, I've found that the only real deals are on the 3 resort rooms. If you have a AAA card and look now at specific hotel websites, you can find a room cheaper than what they offer. For example, I'm staying at the Best Western Park Place which is right at the crosswalk entrance to the parks on Harbor, and w/ my AAA card it's $98 a night. 5 min walk to the parks and 10-15 min to the race areas. If they don't already have the hotel list on the Get Travel website, they will w/in the next week and they'll post the different hotels and discounts that they offer and then you can play around on the hotel websites to gauge which deal is best and what's best for you family.

On a side note, it's 10:35 and at least on my computer I can't get on the rundinsey site. I'm already registered, but was curious to look at the traffic. This is crazy!! Anyone taking bets on how fast everything sells out? I'm guessing 10k today if not already, and DDD tomorrow morning, w/ the 1/2 by the weekend.

Just was able to finally get on the site and the DDD is already sold out. The 10k says it's at 70% but it also lists the DDD as 95% but when you click on it it says sold out.
