Hollywood Studios-food!
Best non-table/sitdown food choice FOR dinner at Hollwood Studios?? We will be arriving in the late afternoon at HS, don't care to do a sitdown but grab a bite for dinner, do the park a little and catch the 10pm Fantasmic show.
Best food choice for counter service??? Thanks |

Pizza planet is our choice. The pizza isn't great but not bad. The salads are good, and the cupcakes. Starring Roles is our first choice for CS at DHS, but they close at 4:00.

Studio Catering has some interesting sandwiches and Fairfax Fare has a pretty decent chicken meal.

I think all the CS here is terrible. We always plan a TS for this park. If I had to eat dinner, I would probably choose Studio Catering. Or maybe gnaw on a turkey leg.

DHS CS is pretty bad. There is nothing that stands out. I would say don't plan on eating anywhere specific but just go with what would be the best choice based on location when everyone is hungry. On that note, I'd agree that a good choice would be to enjoy a nice turkey leg and several snacks.

For dinner, I'd check out the various offerings at Fairfax Fare.

I respect your opinion but have to disagree. Starring Roles is very good plus a very nice place to sit and eat and people watch

I enjoy all the yummy goodness here, but I don't really look at it as a meal. It's a snack station to me. The sandwiches are nothing great IMO. Also, they asked about dinner. SR closes at 4pm.

I will agree that DHS likely has the worst selection of counter service meals, but that doesn't mean that you won't be able to find something good. As mentioned, Starring Rolls has some good sandwiches. Maybe check and see if you can get some Hollywood Brown Derby Grapefruit Cake while there. Sometimes they will let you purchase it at Starring Rolls which is nice. Others suggested Pizza planet and Studio Catering co., both of which have some good selections. For me, however, Min and Bill's is where it is at! I like the frankfurter in a pretzel roll (and I order it with mustard) and my husband likes the sausage and peppers in a french roll. They come with kettle cooked chips. Both are very good, not messy, and easy to transport which makes them superb for grabbing as you are on your way to wait in line at Tower of Terror or Rock n Roller Coaster. The pretzel or french roll completely surrounds the frank or sausage so you don't have to worry about losing all the goodies! Sometimes I will add a frozen lemonade to drink to really complete the meal.

Starring Rolls is good, but like PP said, it closes early. It's probably the best of the CS choices in DHS, all the rest are mediocre at best.

Pizza Planet is loud we do Catalina Eddie's for pizza. The carrot cake cookie my parents swear by and the peanut butter cookie I love at DHS for dessert.

We are pretty picky eaters, and we really liked Pizza Planet at HS. The salad was good, the pizza was tasty and it came with one of our favorite desserts the whole trip...the cappucino cupcake. Our family of 5, (3, 6 and 8) split 3 meals and had plenty to eat. We liked it so much, we went back for a second time! I would give it a try!

We've eaten at Studio catering company in the past and enjoyed it. Just make sure that your check the restaurant hours when you arrive. We were caught off guard on our last trip when we wanted to eat dinner at 6pm. Half of the counter service restaurants were already closed.
