No, the online rate (with some rounding) shows $73 for a weekday rate right now. The calendar was posted on-line in January 2013, yes, but the rates were available (and effective) to reservations made since last late summer/early fall.

So your tax-free rate was $67 and you paid $74 with the tax for the one night deposit. The new rates don't kick in when posted on line. The new rates kick in several months before that. So life is good.

Thanks Mcert01. My concern is for people reading this thread - I don't want them to make the same mistake.

My work here is done.

These exchanges are getting too funny - reminds me of when my older two were in their early teens! They could argue until *the cows came home* and then would have to agree to disagree!

But Bama Ed, it looks like you've only been to fort 15 times so you're just trying to spin it, right?

Seilerbird, I do agree with you I think the price should be locked in. I love Disney and will pay what they ask, but I think when you book your rate it should stay that rate.
I'm glad you are enjoying your trip...

Now I am confused about my own reservation for July 2013! I think the guest is always charged for taxes going up no matter where they stay! I didn't know the price of my campsite could go up! Are prices locked in if you pay for your room or package in full (what I did last time) instead of just paying for a one nights deposit, which is what I done this time?

My understanding is that prices are not guaranteed unless paid in full. But I have been known to be wrong before. Now how many women admit that?
