I like the bottom three.... I might keep them all, I have to go Capital Hill again this year and might wear one of these dresses.

I really hope prices go down too, people are speculating that it might go down after the 321 sale they are having right now.

I thought that peach one was the one for me when I walked into the store..

So far I have not got anything from the site, others seem to swear by it, so I am trying it out.

I went ahead and ordered all of them, with the intention of taking them back if they did not fit or look good, but I need three of them for the cruise.

I ordered one size down from where I am in pants, b/c I carry all my weight in my legs and hips.

Oh well, they came and I can wear them all, except the long one. I am just too top heavy, everything looks like it is bulging out of the top! The cut does not work for D.


So which ones do you guys like?

I love the two middle ones.

I'm not sure the polka dot one looks "formaly" enough. I like them all, but 2 & 4 would get my votes for a formal night dress.

I know it's too late at this point, but I've had really good luck at the Dress Barn Outlet in the days before Christmas. Most everyone has purchased their NYE dresses and they are blowing out the ones that didn't sell. I'm not sure if with your additional pounds it pushed you into plus sized, but that's my problem right now. I used to be right on that top of the regular clothes, but still able to shop in normal shops. Now I'm heavier and just in the bottom of the plus sizes.

Dress Barn has some nice stuff for the heavier categories even if it's "just a little heavier", they have a lot of 1X too. I got my dresses for my next cruise there for 55-60% off.

The Polka Dot one, is the finest fabric, and has the crinoline skirt underneath.
The red with black lace has a puff skirt with the pleats in it, I just found out it has pockets... Weird I thought.

The blue, is the nicest feel. The fabric is very soft, and clingy. I have lost another 5 pounds since I tried them on, so Maybe I feel comfortable enough to take pictures now.

Today is our Chinese New Year's party, so I will try and do it tomorrow.

I decorate the house in red lanterns, and dragons, I make Pork and Ginger Potstickers, pork fried rice, and Egg drop soup and I ask each family to bring something to eat, and we have a dinner party...

I have done this for years.

It is just an excuse for us to have a dinner party.

I had neighbors about 7 years ago that were from a little town outside Beijing and they were having a hard time making friends here in our neighborhood, so David and I decided to throw a Chinese New year's Party and have everyone over.

Our neighbors were so impressed they took pictures and sent them home to their family to show what we were doing.

It was kinda funny but it is just a tradition that has stuck.

and sorry about the gain, but hopefully it will come off pretty quick, I normally gain while on vacation, but it comes off the next week. (If I go back to my normal eating)
