They are a must have on any trip for the kids. We usually do on the last day before leaving

I didn't like them, until we tried the ones at Ohana. For some reason, those were really good, but we've had them at other venues and didn't think that they were anything special, other than looking cute.

We have found them to be good when they are fresh. They do tend to get a little hard and tasteless when they sit on the buffets too long.

Wow! we love the Mickey waffles. I'm not a big waffle person but mickey waffles are so tasty!!! They have a great vanilla like flavor that is better than any waffle I've had before. We actually got married at Disney and had our whole family at Disney for the wedding and everyone was raving at how good the mickey waffles were at the different Disney restaurants. I dunno maybe our families and friends are weird?

Since I am gluten free, the chefs make me my own special plate of Mickey waffles. They are hot and doughy and crispy and delicious! When I wasn't gluten free I hated them! Because they get soggy and lukewarm just sitting in a buffet tray. I never got them made to order before being gluten free.

Agreed! I'm gluten free (GF) too and LOVE the GF Mickey Mouse Waffles! The other day was my birthday and I said to my mom "All I want for my birthday is a GF Mickey Mouse Waffle." Yuummy!

I think what makes them so good is the size and depth of the I guess you call them pockets to hold syrup!

They're amazing! The chocolate ones aren't very nice though.

Looking forward to getting a big waffle for breakfast at AKV!

Try the food court at one of the resorts. The ones we had at POFQ have always been fresh. They usually seem to have come right out of the waffle iron. Some mornings I had to wait for ours' to finish cooking.

I love them with of without syrup. They are perfect when you get warm, just out of the waffle iron.
