Southwest Boarding position.... - The DIS Discussion Forums

Its been a while since I have flown SW so I am not up to speed on them anymore..

Woke up early to check us in and received positions in group B, #'s 20 - 24.

How did I do? I know we shouldnt have any problem sitting together (at least I think I know that lol) but I wonder what the lowest numbers I could have received..........after their frequent fliers etc...... Is it possible to get in the A group anymore? No small children here for any type of early boarding....

A1-15 is their elite members
15 - 60 is next...early bird ressies are usually early A's
Then comes you!

EBCI people are now getting high A's/low B's. If I was checking in, without that EBCI option, I would imagine that getting something in the mid-Bs would be commonplace.

You will be fine, Although, SW seats 3 across, someone will have to sit somewhere else. Hopefully, right across from you.

You will probably have to head to the back and might not be able to get 5 across.

Thanks! I dont mind sitting in the back and only 4 of us are going.... We are all adults so even 2 and 2 are fine......

I've had the end of the B's on a full flight leaving MCO and had no trouble getting 4 seats together. Mind you we ended up sitting in the back.
