I'm afraid not- when is your cruise?
Do you have enough time to get another passport if you can't find the one that you packed away?

Good Luck!

Are you a US citizen? Is the cruise a closed-loop one? If so, the minimum necessary for travel is a birth certificate and (for those 16 and over) a government-issued photo ID (driver's license).

Nope. Need a birth cert. have you checked how to get one in your area? In our county I can go to the courthouse and pick one up for a small fee.

Once you have that you can get a replacement passport.

As noted, you need the birth certificate to get a passport.

If you are still living in the county where you were born, it may be possible to get the BC the same day. That's how it is where we are. When we needed the kids BCs, we just went to the registrars office, filled out a form, paid our fee and walked out with the BCs.

Wow the same thing happened to me. I thought I had very carefully chosen the important items to not put into the three very large storage units we are using right now. But when I went to get my passport nope not there!! Also my birth cert. were not with those "important" papers mind you some of those "important" papers were documents from my outdated computer! I think I was in overload mode when I was packing. Anyway I had to first figure out which of the three units I needed to go thru then hoped that I had made the right choice. I did make the right choice but I still had to clear the unit 3/4 the way back before I could gain access to the file cabinet! I was going crazy as I knew the birth certificates were there too! It is all worth it tho as we sail in March and in October next year!!
Hope by now you were able to get yours!
