Where do you draw the line with dorm room guests?

How about a four-year-old, 6+ nights a month and unlimited days? Crazy.

I would do everything I could to get out of that situation. I couldn't study with a toddler around at all. Maybe she should invite a boyfriend to come over six nights a month?

My question is, where does this child live the rest of the time? Also... Why in the world would you want to expose a little kid to the sorts of behavior that occur in a student dorm?

I'd be pitching a fit if I was in this person's situation.

I'm the mom of a college freshman, DD is now in a single room. Life is much less stressful. (How's that for a very short story of a bad roommate situation!)

This is just wrong. wrong. wrong. I realize it may not violate the policy...but common sense says this is just wrong.

With the new semester on the horizon, maybe the non-mom can move out to a different room, and leave the mom and her kiddo to themselves.

This is sad that she now is responsible for a 4 year old.
