Renting points
Can someone point me to the correct board or website which will best educate me regarding how to rent points for renting a DVC villa?

Considering Renting from a DVC Member? thread

I am a DVC member, and even I would probably rent from a broker as opposed to going directly through a member. I think it just offers more piece of mind for both parties when there is a go-between.
With that said, my friend ONLY rents from people on disboards, and she has never had a problem. She has gotten some unbelievable deals that kind of made me question why I paid full price while she is getting the same benefit at a fraction of the cost. Although there are some headaches associated with renting, you can't beat the price. It is almost laughable what some people pay per night when they rent, as opposed to people who pay through central reservations. |

David's Vacation Rentals. We tried to rent a two bedroom villa at BLT for Christmas, 2013 and got with him prior to the 11 month mark and even on the day our 11 month mark opened he didn't have enough points for us. We ended up going through Disney to get what we wanted.
