POR Royal Rooms vs CSR

So, my boyfriend and I have reservations at CSR for May of this year. We sucked up the room + tickets discount to upgrade from AoA. Well, the boyfriend came across the Royal Rooms and now wants to stay at those. They'd ultimately be about the same price as our preferred room at CSR. I have always wanted to stay at CSR, and this would be my first time, but I'm okay at either.

Is there any selling points of either resort to just help our decision? It will be just us two going from May 14th-19th. I should mention that my boyfriend is a Disney vet. He is only 24 and has gone over 6 times. I, on the other hand, only have gone once. So I am sometimes more apt to go with his opinions. I just want to hear any other selling points.

(If we do change again, I can at least blame being a resort changer on him )

Just got back from our first stay at CSR...I would recommend POR. We much preferred the layout and size of the resort. I also prefer their food court, better selection, no 18% gratuity. We did have a mishap at check in so that may be skewing my opinoin, but I definetly vote for POR.

Have only been to CSR and really enjoyed it. If your BF likes to workout, he can't do that at POR. That said, up until a few days ago I thought I would book POR myself for our next trip just to try something different.....However, with the Spring deal I may be able to do a standard at AKL......I can't recall the lounges at POR but I know CSR has Rix and tho we didn't take advantage of it, it looked nice and I have heard good things about it. You'll enjoy either resort
