Bringing alcohol on board?

Is this still ok? Can I bring unopened bottles of wine or liquor in my carry on bag?

Just remember it needs to be in your carryon bag, not checked bags.

is there some limit or restriction? Or is it as long as you can fit it in a carry on. Someone told me that for a 6 night cruise, it is 1 bottle per stateroom per night...meaning we can bring a total of 6 bottles on the cruise-regardless of whether it is a bottle of beer, wine, water, soda...

Never heard of this before. As far as we all know it is whatever can fit into your carryons.

No limit. DCL just requests that it be with your carry-on and not checked luggage. No limit to the # of carry-ons, either, but keep in mind that you (your party) will need to lug these around until your stateroom is available around 1:30/2:00pm. Alcohol brought onboard is expected to be consumed in your stateroom, not allowed in public areas; the exception is that you may bring a bottle of wine to the dining room for a corkage fee ($25?). If there's a chance you won't consume all you bring on, I suggest keeping your receipts to prove it was bought state-side.

Enjoy your cruise!
