We really enjoyed Boma's. I loved Kona's, but hubby was just like eh. (I think it is because he didn't have the macademia pancakes like I did! )

We really love the Grand Floridian Cafe. My sister said they had the best pancakes on property. Also really loved Kouzzina's breakfast. The spinach/feta cheese omlete was to die for...

Another vote for Boma! We eat breakfast there twice every trip!

Ditto Kona Cafe! Its my family's fave!
The Tonga Toast, Macadamia nut pancakes and The Samoan (pulled pork, poached eggs with hollandaise, potatoes) are wonderful!

We love Ohana. You get a big plate of fresh fruit: pineapple, melon, grapes. Then it it a family style pan filled with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits...and Mickey waffles are brought around. It is all-you-can-eat. We love the atmosphere and are willing to sit through Lilo and Stitch to get to Mickey and Pluto.

To answer your question, my favorite breakfast venue is Boma (at AKL).
And I'm moving this to the Restaurants board now.

We do Boma for dinner, but what is special at breakfast? How is it better than some of the other places - we have done Crystal Palace and Park Faire for breakfast in the past.... We may have to try it.
Thanks!

If the ranking is based on taste and not "character atmosphere," I'd vote for Wolfgang Puck Express. If ranking on characters, it will depend on the favorite characters, but we preferred Cape May.

Our last trip we had CRT, Tusker House, The Wave and Chrystal Palace breakfasts. I was very partial to The Wave. I really want to try GF Cafe for breakfast this time as well.

We wouldn't do Crystal Palace again if it weren't for my very young kids who will get a kick out of the characters.

The rotisserie carved meats with African sauces are worth it for me alone! The ham with the Boma mustard is the best. They also have sambal, an African pepper paste for the meats which I love. There are many African foods I've never even tried yet! I also love the omelet station, made to order however you want. Oh and the raisin bread pudding french toast with praline pecan sauce...O....M....G!!! My mom loves the fire roasted tomatoes & asparagus and pap - not a favorite of mine for breakfast but I've never seen that at any other breakfast buffet in WDW.

We love Chef Mickey, although I can't say that the food is "out of this world." We just like the overall experience.

I am not sure where you are staying, but if possible do room service!
2 credits, sleeping in and hot coffee brought to you, what else could be better?
If that's not your cup of tea, I would do Kona Cafe. If you want character dining, I would say go Crystal Palace.

Kouzzina.

They have fresh pressed pots of coffee, the stacked breakfast is original and delish and the salmon breakfast is out of this world. Went twice last trip!
