P/TN Allergies and Wishes Dessert Party???

My DD age 7 has a severe Peanut allergy- we avoid all nuts (barring coconut) as well as foods manufactured in the same facility. We would love to take her to the Wishes Dessert party-- but only if we know there will be safe options that the chef can offer her.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thank you in advance!!!

Note her allergies when you make your ADR and you should be all set. DD is allergic to peanuts and tree nuts and we've done the Wishes dessert party twice.

Both times, I noted the allergy on the ADR and mentioned the allergy when we checked in. I was told a manager would come to our table to talk about the allergies. Both times, the manager prepared her a plate of desserts in the kitchen so that nothing was cross contaminated.

Here is a picutre of DD's plate from the first party we went to. There were cookies, brownies, fruit, & ice cream. The manager also told her to let him know if she wanted more of anything and he would get it from the kitchen.

I don't have a picture of her food from the second time we went, but it was more like a platter! I think it had all of the stuff in the first picture plus three slices of cake.

We had a great experience both times and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

Thanks so much for the info! Out of curiosity, do you avoid items processed in the same facility as peanuts/tree nuts?

I've always wanted to try the Wishes Dessert Party with my family but have been afraid because my DD is allergic to peanuts, tree nuts and chickpeas.

Maybe on our next trip we'll give it a try!

Response I rec'd re: Dessert Party

Here is the the response I received after reaching out to a few different people... Given this info, we will not be attending the dessert party. Basically it sounds like the only truly "safe" items would be prepackaged brownies and gummy bears. Oh well.

As far as accommodations for peanut/tree nut allergy, we do have several items at Dessert Party:
Tiramisu,
Vanilla/chocolate cheesecake,
Chocolate dipped strawberries,
Rice krispies,
Chocolate chip cookies,
Brownies,
Fresh fruit,
Vanilla ice cream.
Above items do not have any peanut/tree nut in them, however they are produced in the same kitchen and on the same equipment as other desserts, which lead to cross contamination (please let us know if you need to avoid it). They are also located on our buffet.

We also have allergy cakes; vanilla, chocolate and spice (processed in the same facility with peanuts and tree nuts),
Raspberry sorbet (processed on the shared equipment with peanuts and tree nuts),
Chocolate chip cookies (processed in facility free of peanuts and tree nuts),
Gummy bears (processed in facility free of peanuts and tree nuts).

Let me know, what items you prefer and when are you planning to book reservation for Dessert party.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
