Which part to get to late?

I've come to realize that with 2 small kids, that usually get up at 8:30, we aren't going to make it to every park at opening. I already have one day at MK planned to get there for RD and one to get there later. Which other park can I get to later? We want to get FPs for Test Track and TSM so I'm thinking we need to get to both of those parks at opening, correct? With the exception of MK, we will only have one day in each park.

If i were to pick 1 park to get to after opening, it would be Epcot. you will need to get to DHS before RD if you want a good return time for TSMM.

I think Epcot would be the one I'd choose to get to later. I've never had problems getting a Test Track fastpass later in the morning.

Well, you *could* get to any of the parks later. It just means the lines will be longer.

AK lends itself to arriving a bit later unless you intend to do the thrill rides, but since it is not open as long, you lose quite a bit of your park day.

If you don't plan to do Test Track or Soarin', you could get to Epcot a bit later and not suffer.

It looks like you're headed down the end of Feb/beginning of March. Others may disagree, but I think you can probably get to AK a little later than rope drop, but not too much because they also close early. The reason most people do AK early is to see the animals up and around on the safari in the early morning. You can also get some good viewing toward the end of the day. Just check with guest services on the way in to see when the last safari of the day will be going to be sure you get there before that. I think you can position yourself near the safari to watch the parade and then still catch the safari. If Expedition Everest is on your list, I'd probably head there first to get FPs, then plan the rest of your day.
