I'm going to seriously miss that spicy chicken sausage app! It was one of my favorite menu items in all of WDW. sniff sniff.

Just canceled my lunch reservation for January 25th. There is no way that I am going to pay $43 for the filet (which is my favorite) or anything else on the menu. We don't do the dining plan and I just can't justify it and I'm not a cheap person! Not much shocks me when it comes to prices at Disney World, but this change to the Le Cellier lunch menu does. When I told my son he said "another restaurant ruined."

That's exactly what I will wind up doing as well. I'll add a side of poutine too, but they will be losing money on my table because we would have ordered meals with the previous menu instead of just a few items.

I think we will do the same thing when we go in August... order the cheddar cheese soup (and hopefully still get the pretzel bread) and then order one cream brulee to share between the two of us.

I was looking forward to going to Le Cellier on my next trip! I still am.. but I really wanted steak! Its a "steakhouse" for crying out loud! I just can't bring myself to pay $43 for the fillet/risotto!

I never managed to get an ADR before this trip and now we have our last lunch there. I was hoping to not pay so much doing lunch instead of dinner and we were thinking of getting the prix-fixe menu. Well, we're still going (I want to try the cheddar soup and creme brulee too badly to give this up after all it took to get this ADR) but I believe we'll share entrees.

Has anyone shared entrees at Le Cellier? I'll probably share a filet with my DFi and DMIL will share something with DBIL.

I don't want an 8 oz steak. At least offer a smaller size! I have a dinner ADR for April. I am not sure I will keep it.

Longtime DVC Member and lover of all things Disney. EXCEPT....the way the dining has been changing over the last few years. I will definitely be cancelling our reservations in March. That burger was something we ALWAYS looked forward to, and it was popular as well.

The pricing is just reaching absolutely ridiculous levels, and having to plan each and every single moment of our trip for reservations, and now even fast passes....STOP IT DISNEY. You are taking away the magic.

My mother is going to be so sad as we constantly rave over that burger, and this was going to be her first one.

I am so confused on what to do. I don't know whether to just cancel my lunch ADR or just order a side and dessert. Has anyone had the lobster mac n cheese?
Edit: Just cancelled. Why I am holding on to this reservation just for the maple creme brle. Hope they rethink this new menu.

So sad-DH and I have a lunch reservation at LeCellier in 1 month and we really loved their burger. We were looking forward to it.

Now that it is off the menu I am canceling my ADR.

Wow I am glad I found this thread. Last Sept was the first time we were able to get Reservations and it will be the last time we eat there. I actually booked lunch ressies for May but have now cancelled them since I cant get the burger.

Disney your greed is unreal, I hope this experiment fails miserably.

After I canceled my Le Cellier reservation last night, I immediately made one for Biergarten - another favorite of ours. For half the price I will still get a delicious soup and pretzel bread, an assortment of salads, meats, potatoes, desserts and entertainment! In all honesty, I am looking forward to eating there more than I was Le Cellier! As I visit WDW often, I mix up my dining reservations. I had eaten at Biergarten in September, but hadn't eaten at Le Cellier since June so that is why I made the adr in the first place.

I'm with you on that....my favorite part of the meal is the cheddar cheese soup with pretzel bread and the Chocolate "moose" dessert. I do enjoy the filet with risotto, however I enjoy my filets that I get at both California Grill and Yachtsman's Steakhouse much more, it is my DH that has to go there for the filet. I am really bummed that they put the chocolate "moose" dessert on the kids menu (I understood why they did it though), that is one of my favorite desserts in WDW.....out of curiosity, since we are always on the DDP, could I still order that dessert or would I have to pay OOP for it since it is on the child's menu?

If the moose is on the kids' menu it doesn't mean adults can't order it. You could ask for it as your DDP dessert and if they won't allow that (it doesn't seem a good deal for 2 credits either) just buy an extra one.

For a long time the moose wasn't on the kids menu. People freaked out when their kids couldn't get it on DDP.

Do we know for sure that the mashed potatoes are gone?

They would let you sub them before, but I didn't think they were listed on the menu.

Do they still have the fries? They were the best fries I ever had would get them instead.

They would let you sub mashed potatoes at lunch, but not at dinner. The potatoes were not on the dinner menu. they would have to be listed as a side with another entree.

They have fries for the poutine. You may be able to just ask for fries. The dinner fries were not the same as the lunch fries though, they were thin fries and the lunch fries were thick.
