Photopass 101 Question

We've never used Photopass. What does it cost to buy a couple pictures? Just photos that I can download to photo bucket, share on facebook, or send to relatives? The other day I was in Enchanted Tales with Belle and they wouldn't let anyone take pictures, only the Photopass photographers. Then they said you could buy the picture, but they didn't say how much it cost. So I didn't take a picture, because I didn't know the cost for one or two photos. Not the whole CD thing,or prints.

They wouldn't let you take any, or just pictures with a flash?? I've taken pictures in there every time I go but without a flash.

I don't know what a few photos would be. But I think it's on their website.

Those photos probably cost about $15 each, that is what the ride photos cost.

4x6 photos cost about $15. Larger photos are more expensive. The photo download is also around $15.

The CD is a really good deal if you think you'll want more than a few pics.

No pictures at all. They said "Our photopass photographers are taking the pictures so there's no need to take any pictures." They stopped a few people who wanted to take pictures, without flash. Then they said "No, it doesn't cost anything to have them take pictures, it just costs if you want to buy one." I didn't want a 4X6, or any size. I just wanted something I could add to photo bucket. Is all they sell "hard copies"?

You should be able to download it from the photopass website.

So if I don't want a hard copy, I can get it for free? Darn! I wish I'd known that at Enchanted Tales by Belle. Then I would have gone ahead and gotten my photo taken.

No, not for free - the download costs about $15.

This is really interesting. I've never been told I couldn't take pics there. Just not to use a flash. Well, we're going in 6 days, so we'll see what happens then.

When you view the photopass photos online do they watermark them?

I agree. It's very surprising that you heard that! I've done ETWB a couple dozen times and it's never been an issue. No flash, of course, but the character attendants have never said anything about not taking pictures in general.

I would email Disney World guest relations about the photopass folks not allowing you to take pictures during ETWB.

Here's their email address: wdw.guest.communications@disneyworld.com

When I was there, we were allowed to take pictures as long as our flash was off and we stayed seated.
The only people allowed to take pictures with Belle were the ones in the play with her. There were a few disappointed people.

The cost for 2 of the same 4x6 photopass picture is 14.95. You can have it downloaded to your computer instead of getting a hard copy if you want.
