Boma is hands down our favorite breakfast buffet. A close 2nd is Captain's Grille at YC which is right by where you are staying!

LOVE Tusker House breakfast.
They have the usual breakfast suspect (Mickey Waffles, eggs, bacon etc,) they also have some fabulous and yummy African inspired dishes. I LOVE the apple crepes - and they have the best carved ham with a sweet/spicy sauce. Plus an oatmeal/cereal bar with every topping you can imagine - lots of fresh baked goods (muffins, danishes, croissants), fresh fruit - and an entire cart dedicated to donuts.
We love the atmosphere - and the location is fabulous. We fill up and then are steps away from the safari after breakfast.

I think Captain's Grille is a winner. You can get buffet or menu items...perfect for our picky 3 teenagers and DH with his Atkins. And it's priced pretty good too.

I've already started the day with Boma breakfast, hit the parks, then went back for Boma dinner - on the same day!

Can I get a little recommendation? I'll have a 2 yr old and an almost 1 yr old with me, and plan on doing Crystal Palace (always walked past and wanted to try it, but we just aren't buffet people) and Chef Mickey's (been there once back in 96 but staying at Bay Lake so want to do it since it is close and kids can see Mickey). Right now I have breakfast at CP scheduled and dinner at CM, but wondering if that is the right way to do it? Sounds like many prefer breakfast at CM to dinner. Would you switch them around? Like I said, we aren't big buffet fans but want to get the characters in at some point. Thanks!

We have not done CP and we don't tend to do breakfasts....but we did a dinner at CM (years ago) and we thought it was good...my kids enjoyed it and they actually do ask to go back there (but we never have).
