We booked Mr. Sancho's ahead of time online @ ShoreExcursioneer.com. We saved $5.00/person for the AI package by booking through them.

It costs more to get to Mr. Sanchos by cab than it does Paradise Beach as Mr. Sanchos is in the next taxi zone. Many drivers will try to encourage you to go to Mr. Sanchos as it increases their rate and they get a kickback from Mr. Sanchos.

About how much is it to get to Mr. Sanchos? And how long does it take to get there?

It was approx. a 20 minute ride to get there. I can't remember exactly, but I think it was $16-$24 for our family of 4 each way, so a total of $32-$48.

Our taxi driver did not attempt to change our destination...we told him where we wanted to go and he was immediately familiar with it. On the ride, it sometimes seems like you're in the middle of nowhere, but if you look at an aerial view of Cozumel, you see you're really just traveling on a big semi-circle to get to whatever beach you're going to.

And as you may already know, whenever taking a taxi in any foreign port, always establish the fare before you get in the vehicle.
