What would you choose... Paradise beach or Mr. sanchos?

We are wanting a beach day in Cozumel. Those are the two places we are looking at. One is all inclusive and the other you pay per item. It'll be four adults and two kids. A couple of the adults could definately eat their money's worth with the all inclusive, and I do enjoy fruity drinks.... I don't know if the kids will want to do the inflatable toys or not. Which should we choose?

Paradise beach was great and very affordable. Guess it depends on how much you drink.

1 bucket of Sol was $15 which I thought was good.

Pepsi $2

Chicken tacos $9

Chicken strips was $6 1 order was enough for kids.

Admission free
Beach lounger $2
Aqua park was $14 we never bought.

Beach was average. Pool was amazing.

Guess it depends on how nice the all inclusive is.

At paradise beach do you pay each time you get something or do you run a tab?

I ran a tab and had the same server all day, he gave tab at the end. But be sure to ask if tip was added on. Glad I did because it was

We went to Mr. Sancho's in June 2012 and had an absolute blast. Would definitely go there again...they took great care of us. They actually have both a free admission side where it's pay-as-you-go and an all-inclusive side. Both sides have a pool, but the one on the AI side is supposedly nicer...I didn't go on the free side so I didn't see it.

There are a ton of activities that you can pay for as you like....ATV's, the inflatable play area, massages, horseback riding, etc... There is also a cooking demo class from what I hear. The waiters are very friendly and you definitely get your money's worth on the AI side in food and drink.

One big advantage I saw to Mr. Sancho's over Paradise when I was doing my online research is that there were many reports that Paradise could get very over-crowded owing to it's low cost and proximity to the port area, especially when there are a lot of ships in port that day.

Worst case you could just leave if you don't like it.
Paradise beach is free admission and lots of cabs.

Paradise Beach was our favorite day on our cruise. It got a little crowded in the afternoon, (the day after Christmas) but was no problem. I am a huge researcher and agonized over my choices as I was planning for a large group. This could not have been a better choice!!

They had the usual wide range of Mexican food options, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, fajitas, etc.. I have read several trip reports of people saying their coconut shrimp is fantastic, but neither my wife or I like coconut, so we didn't have this. There are also plenty of American food options and a kids' menu. And oh yes, there were a ton of different drinks, including the fruity kind. I mostly drank margaritas, including an interesting tamarind margarita. But the bartenders will make any drink you ask. By the end of the day, they were bringing me my standard margarita w/ orange juice without me even asking!

You can check out reviews of Mr. Sancho's on Trip Advisor, as well as Paradise Beach and another Cozumel hotspot, Nachi Cocum.

We have Mr. Sanchos all-inclusive package booked for us for March. If you go to their website, click on email us, and do so, they will send you links to 2 different excursion websites that do their booking for them. I entered exactly what we wanted and paid about $5 as a deposit thru Paypal. No problems.
