Just found this thread. Cool. Here are a couple of portraits I did for my company's web site. Hope you like the ultra detailed approach. A note on the composition: these were taken to allow room for the person's name and signature, hence the far left orientation of the face.

Great shots wbeem. I may not speak for everyone, but those are the types of shots I aspire to be able to take someday.

Your lighting also seems to be exceptional.

Thanks, that's very kind. Most of those shots are using a single flash and a small softbox on the end of a monopod.

I'm by no means as good as William, but maybe someday I'll get there. I always love looking at your shots on the Pic of the Day threads and now here too. I still stink at indoor stuff, but I do ok on outdoor shots. Here's one to share...
