Question Is Tower Terror & Rock 'n Roller Coaster busy @ rope drop?

Heading back after almost 3 years. In the past we would head straight for Toy Story. The kids want to do ToT and RR first (and hopefully more than once). Is it still a mad cray rush to TSM? Curious how the crowds are for the other rides I mentioned at rope drop.
Thanks

TSM is still a mad rush...ToT and RnR I don't think have too big of waits at the beginning. I've seen them around 10 or 11 a.m. without big waits either while TSM of course was nuts.

Absolutely positively agree.

We were at HS Saturday at rope drop; we did ToT and then headed for Toy Story. By 8:45 the FastPass times were 4:40pm return. We got in line at 8:45 and completed the ride at ...wait for it....11:10. Hopefully the Xmas crowds are gone and your experience will be better.

DD and I were there at rope drop and went right to TSM. We had a 20 minute wait and it was 9:05 a.m. when we walked out of ride (Park officially opened at 9:00). The line for the Fast Passes was down to Little Mermaid. We then went got a FP for ToT, rode it (30 minute wait) and was 10 minutes early for our FP return time.

I'm not the OP, but if you wanted to do all 3 headliners once each, would the best strategy be to get FP for TSM, then ride ToT and RnR standby? Is there a particular order between ToT and RnR?

Yes. Do TSM FP, ride RnRC standby, ride ToT standby, then redeem the TSM FP when directed.

Also agree with mesaboy.

We were in line at TSM at 9am (2 1/2 hours). The man behind us had his daughter in line, but His sons rode singles for the RRC three times did a ToT FastPass while he was in line. They were texting status.

Last time we went we made the dash to TsM got a FP, went over to RnR road it, then walked over to ToT,maybe a 15 min wait , the kids got back on with DH while I enjoyed a coffee, then they went back to RnR rode again all before it was time to return back for our FP at TsM, even with the FP we still waited in line for 30 mins. I'm planning(and hoping) on this tradegy again!

We've never seen lengthy waits for Tower of Terror. The coaster waits can get long but usually not early in the morning.

Last July I was able to be one of the first people to get a fastpass for TSM rode it quickly and by the time I got to RnR It still was not open. This was when they were (not sure if they are still doing this) opening the park a few minutes before official opening like maybe 10-15 minutes and by the official opening time RnR was open. This happened twice to me but the line was not too bad either time.

Yup- agree with what has been said. We were there Christmas Day (So very busy time) and went on TSM after TOT and RnRC...wish we would have ran to TSM for a fast pass, we waited longer than I thought and it was about half an hour after rope drop.

Have fun- love all those rides, wish I was there again
