Animal Kingdom Lodge vs POR or CBR

Hi all,

I know these kind of questions are very subjective, but .....

We've stayed at POFQ for the last two years and want to try somewhere different. We have narrowed it down to POR (not straying too far, eh ), CRB or Animal Kingdom Lodge.

We have kids who love the swimming pools and we certainly plan on utilizing these.

We really would prefer the AKL. Coming from the UK we will be there for 14 nights meaning that AKL will cost us $1,500 more than the moderate resorts (or $3,000 if we go for a Savannah view). Do you think that there is that much difference between the resorts to justify the additional cost?
