A funny light-hearted moment...
So in trying to prepare our 6 year old DD for Disney and the inevitable waiting times and her lack of patience at times, DH and I were talking amongst ourselves and trying to strategize which days to go where and what time to start.
DD over hearing our conversation piped in "I can be patient!! Remember Mommy how I stood in line with you for over 2 hours to get gas, it was exhausting but I was patient!!" Kid 1 - Mommy 0.

As long as that gas event really wasn't a ten minute wait that she thought felt like two hours, I think you're in good shape.

She's a pip to say the least..she "found her voice" last year and ever since hasn't been afraid to use it. Half of me is proud of her, the other half is scared.
