Nope - we left wondering what all the hype was about too.

Perhaps where you sit make the difference.... we were in the dining package seating to the far right side.... we thought it was also OK... not bad by any means... just not amazing.

Now the preshow "entertainment" was awful.... the two MCs were soooo bad I was embarrassed for them.

I was underwhelmed by Fantasmic. I went once, several years ago, and did the whole F! dinner package at Mama Melrose (dinner was pretty good). But was pretty disappointed by the show itself.

Oh, well, I believe in trying everything at least once. I even did the original Mission Sopace (before they had a non-spinning version!) -- never again! But I'm proud of myself fo trying it, even though I was pretty nervous!

As everyone's likes differ, you won't get a concensus on this. I love the show. My favorite nighttime show at DW. (well, except for the Halloween parade). I just get goosebumps thinking of the Fantasmic song. I love it both at DW and DL. 2 different shows and different experiences.

But I agree with a pp, try it again yourself in a center seat and decide if its worth keeping on your to do list.

I heard tell about some places that charge you about $10 a seat to show videos up on a big white tarp on the front wall.

Kind of popular, if I heard right.

We saw it once, in 2007. It was ok, not bad, not amazing. Haven't been back since. Lol.

We got decent center seats. Off season and waited for an hour or so before start [awkward arrival time]. It was nice, but it didn't feel worth the early time commitment.

That's just us though.

If you don't enjoy the Disney music then you are probably going to think it is just ok.

I thought it was just ok...I had seen it in 1999 and remembered not liking it. I skipped it on my next trip in 2010 because of that and this past October I decided to give it a try because I heard the music in some youtube videos and liked it a lot. Plus it was DBFs first trip so I wanted to try and do all the "must dos".

DBF did not like it. He thought it was too long and just meh.

At least we didn't have to wait in line or anything, we just walked right in about 20 min before the show and were able to sit almost right in the middle (we were slightly to the left side). And I did enjoy the music.

I could take it or leave it. I would not wait in line for it, and I don't know if I would see it again next trip. It would depend on how much free time I end up having or what others who travel with me want. If someone wanted to me to go with them and there was no line, I would do it.

We saw it for the first time on our last trip. I was less than impressed. It has NOTHING on Illuminations or Wishes. While it was nice to sit for a while, it is not something I would go out of my way to see...

We've seen it a couple of times .... Nothing snymore will I line up for an hour early and then be squashed in seats for the duration, then the sardine exodus of leaving...

Show is decent they just need a different forum for showing.... We're through with it!

We don't do it every trip. Maybe every three years. We still like it, it's outdated, but still fun.
