Wishes Dessert Viewing Questions

We are interested in doing the Wishes Dessert viewing on our October trip and our December trip this year.

Can you do this during the MNSSHP and the MVMCP? How far in advance do you book it, and what number do you call?

We did this several years ago and really enjoyed it, I just don't remember the details.

Thanks for your help.

I can't answer all of your questions, but I do have a bit of experience with this since I tried to register this week for our trip in July. I was told that it isn't entered into the system until about 3 months beforehand. Perhaps someone else can offer specifics.

You call the regular Disney Dining number.

I'm fairly certain that it's not available on party nights.

It is available on party night but you need tickets to that night party to enter MK even if you're only going to the party. There was a thread not long ago from someone who booked the party and was refused entry into MK because she didn't have a MVMCP ticket. So be sure to book the party and purchase a ticket.

Reservations open around one month prior. While January opened on November 23, February opened on January 6 so it's not a exact date. My advice is to subscribe to the Wishes Dessert Party Thread at the ADR forum.

I don't have the number handy but it's the same number you book you regular ADRs or you can book it online.

Here are two threads on the subject. One is a reservation open watch. February just opened. It looks like they are waiting until 30 - 40 days prior to the month before opening at this point (it could change for the future)

We went in October. Booked using online reservation system. Checked every morning for a month until October opened up. The calender had many dates blocked out and they were the nights of MNSSHP. Checked a couple of days later and there was nothing left. Suggest calling or checking online everyday until you get what you want starting 60-80 days out.

It is neat. We did it Christmas week. I thought it would be worth it to be up out of the crowds to watch the fireworks (it was!) and the desserts were yummy.
